Welcome to the Berkeley Center for the Study of American Democracy. CSAD’s mission is to support and promote the work of scholars focused on the challenges confronting American democracy.
We offer assistance for graduate and undergraduate research, as well as resources to promote conversations within Political Science and across Campus concerning the challenges of governance in the United States.
CSAD also provides office and meeting space for advanced graduate students and visitors.
